Using Library Material in Class

The library has many online resources that are relevant and useful for your class, and you can use these with your students. Any articles, ebooks, or other content from the library's databases can be linked to from your Canvas course without running afoul of copyright as we have already subscribed to have campus-wide access to these materials. Explore the tutorial on the left for information on how to properly include links or PDFs of library resources in your course.

If you're wondering about how to determine if your use of copyrighted materials is considered a fair use, watch this recorded Zoom presentation, recorded on March 24, 2020 about Copyright & Fair Use in the time of COVID-19.

Accessibility

When moving content to the online environment, faculty should be aware of ways in which to make the content as accessible for students as possible. Questions about accessibility should be directed to Sally Chadbourne.
